NW Sports Massage
About
Nicki started NW Sports massage in Northway, Tewkesbury, in 2021, she is a Level 4 -qualified sports massage therapist, as well as a physiotherapy student studying at the University of Gloucestershire.
Nicki has a background in the Equestrian field. She has a love and passion for horse riding and has her own horse with which she has competed in many disciplines with. Having worked with horses since she was a teenager, she knows how the physical demands that manual jobs can take on our bodies and how taking care of ourselves helps keep us feeling well.

Nicki hopes to bring together her knowledge of the working and active body together with Sports massage to help people to stay more mobile, and supple, and improve posture and general wellness.

Unlike normal holistic massage, sports massage is more designed to an individual’s needs, targeting tight muscles and our body's soft tissues, and trigger points, which in turn can improve a person's range of movement and help return muscles to normal function.
​
The name ‘Sports massage’ can put people off, however, whether you spend all day on your feet or sitting at a computer all day can take its toll on our bodies and leave us with weakened and tight areas.
And finally, the pressure of each treatment is matched to your desires and needs.
